The Ti Amo Memorial Bench ("I Love You") was designed in 2006 to honor an Italian grandfather. His family liked the Ruth Bench, but wanted it to last forever and asked us to make it heftier. We added thicker timbers and retained the Ruth Bench lines. We were surprised at the beautiful result. It is our finest bench. You may choose to add an inscription or a plaque. We can engrave an inscription for a nominal cost or you can have a plaque made by your local trophy or engraving shop.
This bench has been designed and built by Veterans groups going back to World War I. Many of these benches are in parks all around the U.S. We donate 10% of the purchase price, in your name, to the VFW Foundation. We offer these benches in both a classic and backless version, and two options for securing the 1/4-inch thick powder-coated steel frames at ground level.
The Alan's bench was a complete surprise. In 2005, Alan called in to order some lumber. He had purchased from us before and wanted to make a special bench. He loved our extra thick high quality Redwood. We sent a 150 lbs package. About 1 1/2 years later we received 2 photos in an email. Wow. We emailed right away asking if we could steal the design. He said, "how much?" We said, "we'll name the baby after you." He graciously accepted our offer and Alan's bench was born.
We would like to say a special "Thank You" to all of our wonderful customers who were kind enough to send in their compliments and messages of appreciation. See our fabulous testimonials »
